Gleaming Hope

I've hit a roadblock of the creative kind. The initial " joy " which came from finally creating this website has subsided and now I am left with the task of creating content nearly daily. When creating this website I had initially thought about making it like a blog, it would serve as practice for a future student journal in CUNY. It was a great idea then and I still think it is now. However, I am running into a large brick wall by the name of " what the hell am I going to write about? ". And the answer my friend....... I have no clue. I have made the decision to write about not only stories in my life, but also my opinions,  probably even some fiction here and there all with the goal of improving my writing. This experience has made me stand in awe of any creative who manages to write a book, start a podcast, who paint , who draw , who sing, who write jokes, who create. In fact, I'll admit that even this very journal is a stalling tactic whereby I don't have to create anything " new" for today and instead can just write a more simple article detailing my mindset and the changes to come ....without writing any of these supposed changes in the entry.
