Take-Off

Hello !

Yes, I am still very much alive and yes I did indeed forget about this website. But never mind that I am back! Last week I went back on campus for the first time since March 2022. It was weird, in the best way possible. It was odd finally seeing Professors who'd you never seen in person. Or maybe you bumped into someone you hadn't seen in months and you guys just stood there like the Spider-Man meme pointing at one another. With the return on campus also came a bit of social awkwardness. I'd spent nearly 2 years going to school at my home and now I have to re-learn how to be sociable. Walking through the campus on my first day made me feel like I was back in middle or high school. Twas very weird, but also really positive. When I first came onto campus, I kind of shut down and became solely focused on getting good grades. Nowadays I'm learning to manage the middle-ground and be both studious while also having some sort of social life. And yeah, that's been kinda hard man. At times I have to remind myself that it's okay to talk about what I'm doing or what I like. But we're getting there. I've also been getting a start on my academic and personal projects. One of them is a story with a former president and hopefully, it can get published. Crossing my fingers, and toes, and hair, and liver. I'm really looking forward to this semester. Freshman year I had pretty much no friends and what I thought would be my future has completely changed. I'm really looking forward to where I'll end up in May. Feel like I've just launched and I can't wait to see where I'll land.
