Screens have been a creeping issue lately. I realized that I am constantly inundated by either my phone , my television , or my laptop. Always a screen and always plugged in. On my way to the gym ? That's Instagram. Get to the gym and need to work out ? Well put on some Spotify for 90  minutes.  Get home and need to get to work ? Well let's take a quick YouTube/ Instagram page. Want to take a quick break after putting in some work ? Well my friend , play some PS4. In all seriousness , this is getting out of hand and I am committed to implementing a serious cutback in terms of being so plugged in all the time. As this school year starts , I will be sure to keep you guys posted on my reduction of social media and phone screens and the improvements which I see in my life from that decision. Also just a quick side-note , I'm going to completely revamp my work-out routine , I feel as if that a transformation is needed at this stage because the summer is coming to an end and I won't be able to spend 2 hours in the gym as I like. This reflects the issue of screens too , in the sense that having an academic schedule and even a job or an internship drags us all ( students) back to reality in terms of the season of bad sleep schedules and bad-time management is over and a new season of good habits arrives.
