Youtube Fatigue
I really like YouTube it's especially awesome in terms of getting me motivated. I can honestly say that some youtubers like Ali Abdaal or Nathaniel Drew were instrumental in me not only creating this website but genuinely putting in effort into self-improvement. Whenever I was a bit down about feeling unmotivated or like I was stuck in a rut , I would hop onto the website and get crucial lessons or ideas which would go a long way to help me. Now let me be clear , these youtubers helped me a lot and many of their lessons have helped me create a roadmap to my goals. However, I have to say that I sometimes would find myself spending hours watching a self-improvement youtuber but wouldn't really do anything after. I'd get really excited about the possibilities only to fall back when it came to implementing them. All the joy came from the watching not the doing. After this realization I resolved to limit my self-improvement Youtube to only maybe once a month. The results have been amazing if I'm being honest , I just get down and start planning my projects. Now I am sure there are some videos out there which could help me with an issue , but the problem is that sometimes we can get so bogged down in wanting to make the " perfect " thing that we never try , and besides there will always be a problem which surfaces. In conclusion , if you're a creative who is stuck in a youtuber loop or constantly looking for videos to help you better your idea , take a step back , take a deep breath , and just go for it. I will be rooting for you !
